Since its inception, the Shelbyville Police Department has strived to protect and serve the citizens of Shelbyville in a courteous and professional manner. Our current authorized force of 28 officers are employees of the City of Shelbyville as well as active, involved members of the community.
In addition to our standard law enforcement duties the Shelbyville Police Department provide several programs to help educate and enlighten the citizenry of Shelbyville.
